I admit it, I am not perfect.

Now that’s out of the way I can get out of my own way and start taking some calculated risks in my business without being worried about making a mistake.

It’s absolutely fine to fall forward in business.  Take the Post It note story.  What was meant to be a super strong adhesive turned out to be nothing more than a low tack reusable paste which the company was not prepare to develop further.  Then someone came up with the idea to attach it to the yellow scrap paper and the rest is history.

Not only did they come up with a market leading product with multiple extensions (different colours, sizes, virtual etc.) they made piles of money in the process.

What Post It idea are you sitting on? Are you too focussed on “it’s not what I want!” instead of what the market is waiting for?
