VACANCIES

Join The Black Curriculum Team

We are committed to creating a team which encompasses a range of skills, expertise, experience and backgrounds including artists, university students, teachers/educator, youth workers, curators and researchers. We warmly welcome applications from anyone who is truly passionate about Black history, young people and equality.

The Black Curriculum is a social enterprise founded in 2019 to address the lack of Black British history in the UK Curriculum. We believe that by delivering arts focused Black history programmes, supporting teachers to embed Black British histories into their curriculum and through campaigning we can facilitate social change.

Educators are at the heart of all TBC work and programmes. Educators create and deliver a range of workshops in schools, communities and organisations including our Springboard programme.

We are currently recruiting for a number of Educators across the UK to join The Black Curriculum team. We are looking for educators who are able to work both remotely as well as in schools, organisations and locations across their local cluster area to deliver in-person sessions (Covid-19 dependent).

Please indicate which location cluster you are applying to work in:

London/Bristol (with possible occasional travel to Bristol/London)

Birmingham (with occasional travel to Liverpool)

Liverpool (with occasional travel to Birmingham)

Manchester

Key dates:

16 December 2020 - Application opens

14 January 2021 - Application closes
